マンドリニスト　赤木奏映　（あかぎかなえ）

Mandolinist KANAE AKAGI

1993年広島生まれ。3歳から音楽家の母のもとピアノをはじめ、4歳より猪熊慶子氏に師事。12歳からマンドラ・テノールを学び、18歳でマンドリンに転向。同志社大学文学部美学芸術学科（音楽学）卒業、エリザベト音楽大学大学院修士課程（マンドリン）修了。大学院在学中、学長表彰を受ける。

第7、8、9回コンコルソ・ムジカアルテ金賞、第65回TIAA全日本クラシック音楽コンサート審査員賞、第36回アジア国際音楽コンサート審査員特別賞、第20回”長江杯”国際音楽コンクール審査員特別賞受賞、第12回ARTE国際マンドリンコンクールファイナリスト（6位）、第28回日本マンドリン独奏コンクールファイナリスト（7位）。

イタリア世界遺産音楽芸術国際フェスティバル2016、コンチェルト・ディ・プリマヴェーラ2016～器楽とオペラ　麗春の響き～、MusicArte高台寺特別演奏会2016、ゴールデン・ガーラ・コンサート グランフェスタ（2017-2019)、第1回スーパーユースマンドリンオーケストラなど多数出演。2018年出雲大社および出雲市役所内ホールにて日伊国際親善記念・日伊交歓特別演奏会にて親善大使として演奏。2017年以降、関東、京都、広島などにてのソロリサイタルも積極的に行っている。2016年から2018年東京・京都にて「演奏会をしよう！―20代マンドリン・ギター奏者による演奏会」シリーズを共催。マンドリン２台によるデュオFezおよびマンドリンとピアノによるデュオDuo Sauviなどマンドリンの小編成によるアンサンブルの魅力を紹介する演奏も多く行っている。2017年よりザーラカンパニー音楽教室、株式会社エルパにて講師を務めるなど、後進の指導にも携わっている。

2015年ギタリスト福田進一氏、2016年シュテフェン・トレッケル氏、2019年今村泰典氏、2022年カルロ・アオンツォ氏のマスタークラス、清里マンドリンセミナー（2013、2015、2017、2018）受講。日本マンドリン連盟、日本イタリア協会、美学芸術学学会、各会員。これまでマンドリンを松重正清、石村隆行、佐古季暢子、井上泰信、音楽学を根岸一美の各氏に師事。

公益財団法人ヒロシマ平和創造基金「ヒロシマ・スカラシップ2024」中村音楽奨学金奨学生。

現在、東京藝術大学大学院博士後期課程(音楽文芸)在学中。

Born in Hiroshima, Japan, Kanae began her piano studies at the age of three with her mother. She started formal piano lessons at the age of four with Keiko Inokuma, and began studying mandolin at the age of twelve with Takayuki Ishimura, Kyoko Sako, and Yasunobu Inoue.

Kanae has won numerous awards, including the Gold Prize at the 7th, 8th, and 9th Concorso MusicArte, the Special Jury Award at the 36th Asia International Music Competition (2016), and the Special Jury Award at the 20th “Banri-no-Chojo-Hai” International Music Competition (2017), among others. She was a finalist at the 12th ARTE International Mandolin Competition (2022) and the 28th Japan National Mandolin Solo Competition (2023). She received the President’s Award from Elisabeth University of Music during her graduate studies (2017).

She has performed in many prestigious venues, including Teatro Olimpico (Vicenza), Villa Durazzo (Santa Margherita Ligure), Auditorium del Centro Culturale Altinate – San Gaetano (Padova), Kioi Hall (Tokyo), Barocksaal (Kyoto), Suntory Hall (Tokyo), Hakuju Hall (Tokyo), Xavier Hall (Hiroshima), and Azalea Hall (Osaka).

Kanae has participated in master classes with distinguished artists such as Shin-ichi Fukuda, Steffen Trekel, Yasunori Imamura, and Carlo Aonzo.

She completed her Master’s degree in Mandolin Performance at Elisabeth University of Music in 2017 and is currently a Ph.D. student at Tokyo University of the Arts, researching 20th-century Italian mandolin music through the specialized journal Il Plettro.

She is a recipient of the “Hiroshima Scholarship 2024” (Nakamura Music Scholarship) from the Hiroshima Peace Creation Fund.
